MyStatement of Purpose for master’s in business Analytics

Introduction

I advance my learning not only for academic achievement but to boost my career life and to achieve my career goals within a given time frame. The research that I have conducted over my past education’s history could be more than enough for someone else, but personally, I still seek to advance to different fields relating to business analytics and advance the academic achievements that I already have. In this regard, please note that I major in business analytics but having taken classes in it, I feel that it is not sufficient to support me in my career. Hence, I intended to apply for masters` degree to enable me to pursue business analytics and boost my career and for personal satisfaction that I desire in other aspects related to academic achievement. Summary of my undergraduate and previous education career

My previous education career has been successful, and I would not complain about not pursuing what I had to pursue then. Despite learning various aspects in my previous education career, I feel that my undergraduate was the most significant one as it supported by career in various ways. For instance, it is at that point when I related business theoretical concepts with real issues in the business world. I was attached in different industries including Pinmbal traders, LLC, Tutovia, LLC, Nepal, and as a volunteer worker in Jack E Singley Academy where I worked as a tutor and applied those concepts and learned more about information systems and overall business context. Also, during this point, I would relate the events in both local and global business world to the learning that I had achieved during my undergraduate studies. The classes that I attended during this stage reinforced my ideas and problem-solving approaches since they were not narrowed to business alone, but they extended to other contexts such as business related aspects such as information sciences and support services I believe affects everyone in society regardless of their careers. Therefore, I believe that I can fit to any organization even though majoring in a business-related course made me to be interested in works associated with this context. Please, note that I have done a research and paper about imports and provision of goods as well as logistic service for E-commerce businesses which was my primary responsibility in Pimbal Traders, LLC. This research sounds like it is not related to business analytics, right? Do not worry, there are several ways in which its concepts are applied in the business world. I will exemplify how this role itself is worth an investment for analysts and how many how much people spend money on analysis, and predicting how the industry will be in the future.

The relevance of my recent and current activities

After graduating, I have engaged in numerous activities that have helped me boost my career besides many other achievements. I also worked as a volunteer worker in South Irving Library where I assumed the position of a manager of Easter Day program for children and an adviser in 2018. The roles and responsibilities that I undertook in this position entailed evaluation of the net value insurance and examining the financial situations of the company to determine its sustainability and analyze the expectations of parents and children in that program. Secondly, I worked as a business analyst and product development intern f1soft, (Nepal) in 2021 summer where I tutored statics and analyze various concepts that would enable the company to progress while providing competitor analysis and presented findings to management, filling records, and preparing reports into the database, and entering and organizing data into database accurately and timely. I currently work in Pimbal Traders, LLC, Nepal Company as an analyst associated with imports and provides goods as well as logistic service for E-commerce businesses. My roles and responsibilities entail the utilization of proven sales methods to prospect and identifying new clients, achieving monthly and annual revenue goals by selling multi-media advertising products to clients, and gathering customer feedback and information to enhance development of new products. Analyzing the imports and providing goods and logistics to the company has established my analytics skills and I believe that enrolling for masters in the same field will even sustain me further and enable me to take more responsibilities related to the field than what BSc in computer and information science and support services in undergraduate level built.

Working in these companies have enabled me to achieve various goals in both career and social life especially considering that they are all intern programs which are associated with many challenges as I experience the activities therefore for the first time. Consequently, I am assured of strong and practical problem-solving skills, and I can pursue them appropriately in my future work environments. I have also gained sufficient experience in my educational field and pursuing this graduate course will even strengthen my ability to solve problems and engage other career activities.

My academic interests

My area of interests is aligned to business analytics, business management, and other business-related concepts. I would like to know how successful companies behave from their startup phase all through to the renewal phase despite pressure from competitors, technological dynamicity, and socio-economic factors. What analytic factors enable those companies to be successful in all stages of their development? I have noted that some skills required for this context include analytics, communication, IT, numeracy, and organization and I possess all these skills justifying my choice. Therefore, I am positive that I will pursue this dream successfully and I am determined to solve the challenges ahead of me in this course. With other skills that I have achieved pursuance to my degree, I confirm that pursuing master’s degree in business analytics will strengthen my skills and expertise in handling various disciplines related to dreams.

My career goal:
To become successful and a renowned businessperson with good analytics, managerial and communication skills, and to inspire young and upcoming businesspeople in society using my passion and knowledge for business analytics.
