Overview:
This week you will complete your reflective assignment by thinking about what you’ve learned in your textbook readings and the unit resources.
In Chapter 8 of your textbook, titled “Communication in Groups and Teams,” Julia T. Wood writes about how when a group of people is very connected, they may engage in groupthink. Groupthink is when a group is not able to critically analyze ideas generated by a group because members are extremely close. Members think so positively about their group that they dismiss the idea that they can make a bad decision, so therefore they are less careful in evaluating decisions.
Instructions:
For this reflective assignment, answer the following questions:
· Think about a time when you were in a group or on a team, whether in your personal life or professional life.
· Did you ever experience groupthink? Explain your experience.
· If you did not experience groupthink, think about a time you may have observed groupthink and discuss that experience.
Requirements:
· The assignment should be reflective of your personal thoughts and experiences and do not require citations or incorporation of unit resources or materials.
· This assignment should be one double-spaced page and does not require APA references or a cover page.
· Because this is a reflective assignment, your grade will be based on completion rather than content quality.

Thank you and good luck on your educational journey!
