Day 1
The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
—Isaiah 58:11
Thank You, Lord, for guiding me through every journey I need to take. Holy Spirit, counsel me through every step. Thank You for Your wisdom and revelation. I have much to learn.
Thank You that I will flourish and shine wherever I am planted and prosper to live abundantly so that I in turn can be a blessing and encourager to those around me.
Father, You know the depth of my being—where I have been and where I am heading.
Therefore, let this new beginning be accompanied by my restoration and healing so that the journey will be kicked off with a refreshing mind-set.
Day 2
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to remembrance all things that I have said to you.
—John 14:26
Holy Spirit, teach me and guide me on my journey so that I have all that I need to be effective and protected. Warn me of dangers I cannot see, and protect me against wrong mind-sets and motives.
Thank You for the lessons You continue to teach me as I realize the benefit of sparing myself heartache by following Your guidance.
Lord Jesus, let me never forget the price You paid for my freedom, as it is the reason I can walk freely and enjoy the journey. Thank You, Jesus.
Day 3
O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
—Psalm 51:15
Lord, You are so good to me. Put in my heart a song that will never stop glorifying You.
I want the whole world to know and see how much I love You. Use my mouth to proclaim Your goodness.
You are worthy, You are holy, and You are amazing. You, Lord Jesus, are my King.
Day 4
Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding.
—Proverbs 3:13
Lord, with all the knowledge and understanding our fast-paced world requires, it sometimes can be overwhelming to keep up.
I need an impartation that will help me gain wisdom and insight to advance ahead of my competitors. And I need wisdom and understanding to grow spiritually so that I can be used as an asset in my community.
Day 5
Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
—Ephesians 5:20
Father, how can I not start this day with thanksgiving in my heart? If I think of all the things I am thankful for, the list just gets bigger and bigger.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your faithfulness, Your guidance, and Your unconditional love.
I am who I am because You changed me.
Day 6
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and her tongue is the law of kindness.
—Proverbs 31:26
Lord, help me to respond with kindness as I interact with others in my daily walk. Let my ears hear what they are saying from their hearts and not just their words.
Use my hands to give in kindness and my mouth to speak blessings over the lives of others.
Day 7
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
—Proverbs 4:23
Lord, protect my heart from getting misused and hurt. Not everyone I meet will wish me well, and many have cruel words while hoping I fall.
Let no one with misguided intentions take advantage of my good nature.
Guide me, Holy Spirit, away from possible hurt by imparting a discerning spirit within me.
Day 8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever thins are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
—Philippians 4:8
Lord, through You, I can embrace a new way of thinking. I can change my character as I learn from You and seek to be truthful in my doings. I strive to be noble and just, out of purity in heart, and to be a good and faithful person.
Lord, help me to be focused, and watch where my thoughts go. It is easy to get distracted by unnecessary things. Help me stay focused in order to reach the goals and standards I set for myself.
Let Your goodness saturate my mind to think noble, just, pure, and lovely thoughts. Help me walk uprightly, living and giving out of a motivation of love.
Let no fear and doubt even enter my mind. Then, Lord, let it flow from my way of thinking into every aspect of my life.
Day 9
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it.
—Proverbs 10:22
Thank You, Lord, that when You bless, You consider everything.
I ask that every gift You give will be sealed with the blood of Jesus so that no outside influence will contaminate the good gifts You give.
Thank You for blessing and prospering me. Make me attentive to impart blessings to those in need.
Day 10
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
—Proverbs 23:7
Lord, expand the vision of my heart.
Help me to see the possibilities of what I can achieve, and help me through my insecurities. Remove fear from my heart, and let courage take root.
I will no longer be bound by limitations I have placed around my heart.
With You by my side, I can achieve anything.
Day 11
That I may proclaim the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works.
—Psalm 26:7
Lord, I have been through so many struggles, fighting the good fight, but through it all, You have been by my side.
Thank You for standing up for me on my behalf. Thank You that I am stronger and victorious today. Together, we have journeyed through deep waters, yet I am still standing and moving forward.
Day 12
And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.
—Exodus 31:3
Father, when You created me, You had in mind my name and skills to accomplish every task I am called to complete here on earth. You are the author and creator of every human ability and talent, each one unique to each person.
Holy Spirit, I ask that You gift me with creativity. Let creative thinking become second nature to me. Revive neglected and forgotten talents, and anoint all the works my hands and mind find to do. Let me never again take for granted the gifts of God to me.
Holy Spirit, I desire a creative edge that will promote God’s goodness and show God’s creative glory to the world. Let that creative gift also be a blessing to me and others. Thank You for every gift.
Day 13
My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
—Isaiah 32:18
Lord Jesus, I ask that the peace that surpasses all understanding that is found in only You is imparted to my home and within my loved ones.
Let outside influences that induce insecurity and fear not enter our hearts. Keep oppression and danger far from us.
A home at peace is a home blessed. I desperately want that peace. Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace. Guide us by Your peace, and settle our hearts.
Day 14
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.
—Psalm 90:17
Lord, to be good providers for our families, we need to work hard in order to keep up with all the demands. Our world is fast-paced and a literal race to be the best and most accomplished.
Bless us with favor so that our work will be anointed and our provision will multiply. Fill our hearts with satisfaction and joy in the marketplaces.
By Your favor, our needs are met in overflow. Thank You, Lord, for Your provision.
Day 15
But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.
—2 Thessalonians 3:13
Lord, sometimes I look at what is happening in our world and wonder, Do people still care for one another?
The few that are trying their best to make a positive impact are a minority and get criticized endlessly.
Lord, help me not to be critical to those who are doing good toward the needy and living out their call.
Put a passion in my heart for those in need and a support for those who are caregivers.
Establish me to stand strong and persevere.
Day 16
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. To God our Saviour,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.
—Jude 24–25
Lord, today I ask that You direct my steps. You alone know what will unfold in this day.
Keep me from stumbling, and guide me in making right decisions for my life and in providing a better outcome for my family.
Surround me with Your presence, and help me tap in to everything available for me to be the best version that reflects Your splendor.
I fully trust You to guide me by the Holy Spirit.
Day 17
Therefore, whatever you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
—1 Corinthians 10:31
Lord, thank You.
Where would I be if it were not for You?
Thank You for giving us good substance to eat and enjoy as a celebration of life.
Thank You for Your every provision. Thank You for Your guidance. Thank You for my loved ones and that I can continually bring them before You, knowing that You will look after us all.
Day 18
For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.
—Isaiah 54:3
Lord, Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Favor me and my children, from this day, to have an expanded mind-set as to what we can achieve on this earth.
I lose all limitations from us and every negative word spoken over our destinies and dreams. Where people failed us, help us to forgive and move on quickly.
Lord, give us wings to fly, and let this scripture be a prophetic declaration over us.
Day 19
Create in me a clean heart, o God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
—Psalm 51:10
Lord, remove from my heart judgment, unforgiveness, and anything that can come between us.
Restore my heart with purity so that Your love will be established in my life.
Holy Spirit, strengthen my heart and flow in me as well as through me.
Day 20
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health; just as your soul prospers.
—3 John1:2
Lord Jesus, my Great Healer, today I bring my health and well-being before You.
Restore my health, and let me be rejuvenated. Your Word says that I am healed by Your stripes; the price for my healing has been paid, and I believe Your word to be true.
Lord, I also bring those I love who need a healing touch before You. Let them be healed in the name of Jesus.
Day 21
Brethren, I do not count to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
—Philippians 3:13
Lord Jesus, I will probably never understand all the difficult things I had to go through, but as a victor, prophetically, I dust the past off from me and stretch my hands out to embrace my destiny.
Greatness lie before me, and I step into that right now. I know that I am shaped into a new person and am ready to embrace my future.
I am excited to know that together we will set out to do great things to impact this world.
Day 22
But exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
—Hebrews 3:13
Lord, help my heart remain sensitive to the needs of others.
I bring before You my friends and family; use me to strengthen and encourage any one of them that might need a loving boost.
If there is any lack that needs to be met, enable me to give from my supply.
Lord, please keep my storeroom full to overflowing, that no one in my circle would go hungry.
Day 23
Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.
—1 Thessalonians 3:11
Holy Father, here I am; use me.
Lord Jesus, direct my feet and use my hands. Lead me to those to whom I am called.
I have friends and family that live beyond our oceans; keep them safe, and look after them.
Help them where they have need. Enable me to reach those I can assist.
Day 24
And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
—1 Thessalonians 3:12
Lord, fill my heart with the love You have for people.
Let me see them as You see them. Lord, help me be compassionate and be an extension of Your grace.
Where past hurts have numbed our hearts to withdraw from people, I ask that You would heal our hearts to trust and love again.
Day 25
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
—Isaiah 41:10
Lord, I surrender my fears to You. I have been through my fare share of traumas; Lord, heal my mind and the effect those traumas have on my life.
Lord of Host, rise up and fight on my behalf the seen and the unseen battles that surround me.
Give me the courage I need to stand-up and take control of my situation.
Like David, I will build myself up and not feel defeated. I will rise and shine.
I am safe and secure in Your arms.
Day 26
And the apostles said to the Lord, “increase our faith.”
—Luke 17:5
Thank You, Lord, for the measure of faith I have within me.
Now, Lord, I ask that You would gradually build upon that faith in order for me to receive more knowledge and wisdom and understanding of who You are and what I can achieve through faith.
Day 27
Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
—Isaiah 58:8
Father today I bring all my loved ones that need a healing touch before You. Father I also include myself in this prayer in that area where healing is still needed.
Heal physical and emotional wounds and illnesses. Let Your glorious light bring everything to the front so that healing and restoration can take place in every area, seen or unseen, are needed.
Lord, shine Your righteousness on our path to our healing. Highlight our responsibility to look after our bodies where we can and thank You for Your glory as our covering.
In Jesus’s name, health is restored.
Day 28
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversary.
—Proverbs 17:17
Lord, guard my heart.
Lord, this day I ask that You will begin the sifting needed and let all friends that are meant to journey with me prove themselves trustworthy and righteous.
As I grow, let those that might cause me to stumble fall away.
I trust You, Lord, to choose what is right and who will remain.
Day 29
When you eat the labour of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
—Psalm 128:2
Lord, thank You for all You have given me to do, Your provision is more than enough.
Thank You for the joy in our home and hearts.
Thank You that I am a living witness of Your goodness at home and in the market places.
Thank You for the blessing we can be to others.
Day 30
Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
—Ephesians 6:24
Today I bring before You; our pastors and those who labor and watch over our souls.
Lord, let me not neglect praying for their welfare and needs as well.
Often, we think that they are secure and provided for but forget that their Spiritual battle must take its toll.
Please restore their strength and provide for their every need.
Day 31
Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed.
—Romans 4:18a
When dreams shatter:
Lord, when things appear to fall apart, remind me of all Your faithfulness so that my hope will not dim.
Thank You for keeping me strong in believing that with You by my side, I am victorious.
My hope is in You,
and Your hope does not disappoint.
Day 32
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
—Romans 8:28
Reflecting on this scripture it is clear that: all things work together for good but not all things are good, and that good can come out of bad. Whatever you go through, remember His purpose For you is good.
Lord, this promise is very dear to my heart.
I am peace driven because I can be assured that at the end of each trail, all things indeed will work out for my good, and I will be restored.
Let my purpose align with the plans You have for me, adjust my mindset to be one with Yours.
So, that indeed, all things will work out for me in Your perfect plan and purpose.
Day 33
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
—Joshua 1:9
Lord, sometimes my mind causes me to doubt and it feels like this struggle will never come to an end.
Holy Spirit align my mind with the mind of Christ, and let my mind see what my heart sees so that I can stand strong and not doubt that the Lord is fighting on my behalf and all I need to do is keep believing. I stand for what is good and right.
Give me inner strength in this day, help me to stand tall and be courageous, as I am about to take possession of Your promises.
Day 34
A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.
—Proverbs 18:16
Lord, expand my influence.
So, often, Lord, we limit our giving to those around us or to our place of worship, yet there are great men and women who conquer and do great things in their quest to bring positive change to the world.
Expand my mind and willingness to give so that I too can influence great people.
Day 35
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
—Philippians 4:19
Lord, there are needs I cannot meet.
So, today I ask and thank You that all my needs are supplied for starting with the ones that seem desperate. With the assurance that my needs are cared for;
show me where I can be an extended help to someone in need today.
Day 36
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
—Ephesians 5:2
Living a godly lifestyle would include; living in love giving ourselves to the benefit of others; not being greedy and ruthless with our lives and time.
Lord, here I am. I worship and love You. I lay myself at Your feet as an offering, giving my all to and for You.
Fill me with more love for my fellow man and use me, send me, guide me where I need to go and what I need to speak.
Work in me and work through me.
To You alone the glory.
Day 37
Even though I am untrained in speech, yet I am not in knowledge.
—2 Corinthians 11:6
Lord, I am so grateful for all You have taught me so-far and know I still need lots to be taught.
Lord, season my words that when I speak it will make sense and be according to the level of their understanding; let the massage match-up with Your revelation to them.
Help me to be clear and precise, seasoned in bringing across a word in its correct season.
Day 38
And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
—1 Corinthians 3:23
Lord, thank You for Your presence within my spirit,
thank You that through Your Spirit living within me I have direct access to our Holy Father.
I am not alone, You are with me always.
Day 39
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.
—1 Peter 2:9
Lord, You made me all new giving me a new identity. You have set me apart as Your special own, giving me a place where I belong. I don’t have to feel out of place to where I belong anymore as my new identity is in Christ.
How different my life is because of Your love toward me. By changing me I can be effective in my call and help others achieve their dreams.
Thank You for changing my destiny and giving me a family, special people and nobility so that I can reflect the King of kings, the Lord of lords.
May my life, be a song of praise to You.
Day 40
But you, beloved, building yourself up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.
—Jude 20
Today I set myself apart to be prayerful in the Holy Spirit, praying in tongues, building myself up and praying for future events to manifest itself smoothly into existence.
Holy Spirit, fill my belly with more of You. Let a river of life bring forth God’s glory and love.
Day 41
For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”
—Zechariah 2:5
Lord, I ask for a fire-wall of divine protection to surround me and my family.
Let no evil force even attempt to break through the fire-wall, let the heat that reflect off the wall send them fleeing.
Let those who project harm unto us be confronted with Your glory and not only be amazed but surrender to the Lord of all.
Day 42
Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge.
—Psalm 19:2
Lord, speak and reveal Your heart to me.
Let the dreams and visions be made plain and give me the ability to rightly interpret those dreams and visions.
Lord, reveal secrets to me through dreams and visions and a clear understanding of their season and purpose.
Day 43
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
—Psalm 23:1
Thank You, Lord, no matter which valley or path I might currently be at, I know for certain that You are looking after my spiritual, physical and emotional needs.
Thank You that You always provide in time.
Thank You for Your faithfulness.
Day 44
And in that day you will say:
“Praise the Lord, call upon His name; declare His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His name is exalted.
—Isaiah 12:4
The day will come that every single person no matter their religious beliefs will acknowledge and see You as God.
Every nation will give You reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.
New songs will be birthed to sing praises to You for You, Lord, You are awesome. You are good, You are faithful. Every day I have something to be grateful for, evident that Your hand is upon my life.
You are my friend and God. You are Holy.
You are glorious.
Day 45
“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
—2 Corinthians 6:18
Growing up, there were times I wished to have better parents—parents that showed love and compassion, and parents who would be there for me in all circumstances.
I realize now, that they were fighting their own demons, and maybe that was their best.
Lord, I want to move on from the past and set them and myself free.
I forgive.
Father, thank You that in spite of how I sometimes feel; misunderstood and alone, I have this promise in You. I am not alone; I am not an orphan. I am Yours.
Day 46
He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap.
—Psalm 113:7
There are times when I am just plain tired, and that is when I need You most. Help me manage my day better and be more balanced.
Lord, I honestly desire to be good and faithful, but at times when I am weak, please help me to keep Your charge, walk in Your ways, and keep Your statutes and commandments, that I may do wisely and prosper in all that I do, wherever I go.
Holy Spirit, stir my spirit to be more and give more but to be balanced at the same time.
Day 47
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
—Psalm 118:6
Lord, I ask for an understanding heart and mind that hears Your voice so that I can discern the motives and mind-set of people I come into contact with; help me discern between good and evil and not jump to hasty conclusions or take offense at what they are saying but respond to what they are saying listening from their heart.
Day 48
And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.
—1 Kings 4:29
Lord, I pray that You would do for me what You did for Solomon and give me exceedingly wisdom and understanding, also largeness of heart for people to be able to relate to their pain and have compassion for them.
Lord, breathe on my mind and impart wisdom, insight, and foresight; may it be second nature to me, and may it be to the benefit of others.
Day 49
Let your heart therefore be loyal to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day.”
—1 Kings 8:61
As humans we put a high value on loyalty as fewer and fewer people are loyal in character. People do not regard or have consideration for each other anymore.
Therefore, Lord, may my heart be loyal and wholly true to You; may I be attentive to what You say and faithful to follow through.
Let us be gentle and considerate of each other; let us Christians then at least be loyal to each other and be keepers of our words.
Day 50
Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
—Ephesians 5:20
Father God, I give thanks to You; You are a faithful, loving, and compassionate Father. You are fair and truthful.
Father, You are wonderful and amazing; You are the Father I have longed for, and I am Your child. The times that I need a father’s heart to listen and give advice, those times I find You speaking in unexpected ways.
Thank You, Father, for everything, in the name of Jesus.
Day 51
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
—2 Timothy 1:7
Father, I declare and decree that You have not given me a spirit of fear or doubt.
But You have given me a spirit of love and calmness, and a well-balanced mind of discipline and self-control; therefore I am saturated in peace and assurance that no weapon formed against me will ever succeed.
Day 52
Moreover He said to me: “Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears.
—Ezekiel 3:10
Lord, I don’t want to miss a thing; let my spirit and heart now open to receive and understand the words You speak to me. Open my mind, and flood me with wisdom and understanding.
Open my ears to hear, and give me a knowing of how to apply what I hear. Listening I want to hear the secrets of the heart and apply the wisdom and understanding You give.
Day 53
And I will establish My covenant with you. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.
—Ezekiel 16:62
Thank You, Father, for establishing Your covenant of peace and love with me and helping me know that no matter what, You are with me.
You lifted me up when I was mistreated and thrown away. You removed the stigma of shame and poverty. You cleansed me and made my beauty unique. I am forever grateful.
Thank You for the understanding, and realization that You are Lord, and everything will work out.
My restoration is through and in You.
Day 54
“I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.”
—Ezekiel 34:16
Lord, we live in a time where it is no new thing for leaders, even church leaders, to take advantage of the weak and vulnerable. Lord, be our shepherd, and remove the wolves among the sheep. Expose the wicked and the schemes to fatten themselves.
Thank You, Lord, for this promise, for seeking what was lost and bringing back what has strayed; in that mess, You found me and so many others. You took care of me and set me free.
Thank You for bandaging my hurts and healing my emotional wounds. My restoration is in You.
I am free.
I am renewed, and I am restored.
Day 55
And the man said to me, “Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and fix your mind on everything I show you; for you were brought here so that I might show them to you. Declare to the house of Israel everything you see.
—Ezekiel 40:4
Holy Spirit, open my spiritual eyes to see in the spirit realm. Open my ears to hear what You want to say to this world. Birth a message in me for the nations to hear. Use me as Your instrument in getting the bride ready.
Open my mind to understand all I see and hear, and put the spiritual interpretation on my lips so that I can declare to Your people that which You show and speak to me. The desire of my heart right now is to be Your prophetic voice.
With that, enhance my senses of the right time to release what You show me. The times are urgent; please do not postpone the word You speak; may it all come together now. May this be a time of the fulfillment of every vision.
Day 56
As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
—Daniel 1:17
Holy Spirit, impart to me as You did Daniel: knowledge that is practical in application and skill in literature that would enable me to write in clear understanding to translate words to the readers.
Lord, release a supernatural ability to enhance the natural gifts and abilities You already placed in me. Place a spirit of accountability in me not to misuse Your gifts.
Let the visions and dreams I receive be easily understood and translated. Let the daydreams I dream with my eyes open manifest themselves as I apply faith to them.
Day 57
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
—Galatians 5:16
Help me, Lord, to walk and live my life fully in the Spirit; prompt me in being responsive to be led by the Holy Spirit in every situation throughout my day so that I will not gratify the flesh or fall prey in being deceived.
Day 58
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
—Galatians 4:6
Thank You, Father, for making me Your child and sending the Holy Spirit to guide and teach me.
It is Your Spirit, which You breathed into my heart, that cries out to You, “Father.” Help me to understand and not forget what it means to belong to You.
Restore to our sons and daughters the Father’s heart—that love that only a Father can give. Heal this fatherless generation, and teach our young men to be caring, compassionate, and faithful.
Day 59
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become the curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).
—Galatians 3:13
Thank You, Jesus, for purchasing my freedom and redeeming me from the curse of the Law and its condemnation and constant guilt for not being good enough.
You never required me to be good enough; just trusting You and accepting Your love for me is enough.
Thank You for taking my place by becoming a curse for me, for paying the price for my sins, and for writing my name in the book of life.
Day 60
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness
—2 Corinthians 9:10–11
Thank You, Lord, for providing a steady income for me and for multiplying my resources for sowing, thereby increasing the fruits of my righteousness.
Lord, at times I am amazed at how faithfully You provide for me and my family. Thank You for new and creative avenues to increase my income.
Thank You that by being enriched in every way, I can be generous to others. Thank You for the people I meet and for the opportunities You create to do business and, as an added bonus, to minister as the need arises.
We give because You gave; thank You, Lord, for supplying our every need in overflow.
Day 61
Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers sins.
—Proverbs 10:12
Lord, the present world climate is that of hatred and strife; in general, most people are intolerant of each other.
Lord, help me to see the beauty and love in my fellow man.
Lord, it is by Your love only that we will be able to love those the world would redeem as unworthy.
Lord, today I choose to put “justice” back into Your hands and do my utmost to love everyone that crosses my path regardless of our differences.
Day 62
And the king held out the golden sceptre toward Ester. So Ester arose and stood before the king.
—Ester 8:4
Father, I pray that You will do for me what You did for Ester and give me favor in the sight of everyone I meet.
Favor that opens doors. Favor in business.
Favor that will set me in the path of influential people in order to influence them in Your way.
Favor in governmental places. And most of all, favor to be as close to You as humanly possible.
Day 63
Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.
—Proverbs 16:3
Lord, thank You, as I hand my works into Your hands and submit by trusting in You that You will cause my thoughts to agree with Your will and make my plans to succeed and go beyond my reach.
I place no limit to the limitless God; my work is Yours, and where it goes is only by Your favor and grace.
Day 64
In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge.
—Proverbs 14:26
Lord, in You I am assured and confident as I hold You in fear and respect and reverence.
In You, I will always have a save place of refuge.
Thank You for divine protection in Jesus.
I plead the blood of Jesus over my marriage, my children, and our health and finances.
And by doing so, I can rest in the knowing that the blood of Jesus will secure our safety.
Day 65
For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to the man who is good in His sight.
—Ecclesiastes 2:26
Father, I really desire to please You because I love You and am so grateful toward You.
I long for Your wisdom and knowledge so that I can impart that to others to enhance their lives and bring answers to those that need an answer.
Let Your joy overflow in my life.
Day 66
Now, therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”
—Exodus 4:12
Lord, there are times when I am in a situation where I am required to speak up.
Being on the spot causes my insecure tongue to express myself wrongly.
Lord, touch my tongue that I may speak words of wisdom and knowledge guided by the Holy Spirit.
Day 67
Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with judgment.
—Exodus 6:6
Thank You, Lord, for bringing me out from under burdens and out from bondage, and for giving me a new life. Thank You for rescuing me with Your outstretched arm. Lord, I pray You do the same for our nation.
Lord, I declare that You will rescue and deliver South Africa (or any other oppressed country that you choose to name here) from the strongholds of injustice and be justice for the people of this country.
Restore this land and nation and forgive us for drifting away from You and thereby letting fear and hatred into our hearts.
Day 68
I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. Selah
—Psalm 3:4
Thank You, Lord, for hearing my weeping and giving me a new beginning.
Thank You for restoring and refreshing Your covenant with me.
Thank You, Lord, that this same promise applies to my loved ones and to South Africa.
Give this nation a new beginning, restore our land, restore our minds from all the violence, and help us to forgive one another.
Lord, set godly leaders in place of our government.
Be the God of South Africa.
Day 69
“My heart rejoices in the Lord; my horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation.
—1Samuel 2:1
Lord, my heart exults and triumphs in You.
My strength is in You.
My mouth is no longer silent. How can it be? But, instead, it is wide over my enemies because I rejoice in Your salvation. You have restored my name and redeemed me from those speaking against me.
Thank You for Your deliverance and for restoring my good name.
Day 70
For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
—Acts 2:39
Holy Spirit, awaken the call of God over my loved ones and myself. Wake up my children to step into their destiny. Bless them wherever they take up residence. Bless their coming and going; bless them where they work, and use them in the marketplaces.
Stir their hearts and guide them.
Thank You, Lord, that the promise of the Holy Spirit is for all who come to You.
Day 71
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
—Revelation 22:1
Through Jesus we have access to the throne of God. We know this, but how many of us have actually been there? How many have pressed in to go and see and drink and taste from the throne of God?
Lord, I am thirsting for more of You. Lord, I long to know You in a much deeper level. Reveal heavenly places to me. Lord, I desire visitations from You. Bless me with a tangible presence and open my eyes to see and understand.
Day 72
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
—Acts 10:34
Lord, You are awesome. You welcome and use every-one who is willing.
Thank You, Lord, that You show no partiality and that You are no respecter of persons.
Help us to look at others and see their potential and heart and not their indifference to us.
Day 73
In all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility.
—Titus 2:7
Today I reflect on these words and ask, “Am I a pattern of good works? Am I giving my best? Am I living the life I preach—living a life that reflects integrity Reverence, and incorruptibility, or am I living the way of the world?”
What would be my legacy to my children and the world? Have I left my mark, and will it last for generations to come?
Lord, show me where I need to change and grow in character in order to be the best person I can possibly be.
Day 74
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
—1 Timothy 5:8
Lord, help me to take care of my family and then for others in need. Often in ministry we help others first and end up neglecting our own.
I do not want them to lose heart where I could have fulfilled my obligation to be a provider or housekeeper.
Give me wisdom and strength to guide and provide for my own first, and thereafter for those I minister to, so that my children would not suffer and become hateful of the faith.
Day 75
Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.
—Isaiah 33:6
Lord, we live in unstable times. People are peculiar, and the earth is crying out too. Nature is neglected, and animals suffer at the cruelty of humans.
There is so much violence in the world, and we treat each other so badly.
Lord, give us wisdom and knowledge to discern the times and plan accordingly to minimize the effects of what is happening around us.
Day 76
My eyes overflow with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
—Lamentations 3:48
Lord, I plead with You on behalf of the mothers, the daughters, the young, and the babies—all those whose innocence has been taken by violence.
Lord, remember this day those who are being beaten and raped.
Lord, let Your healing hand stretch out to them.
Give them victory to overcome and rise as pillars that would nullify and shame their shamers.
Day 77
But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days.
—Daniel 2:28
Lord, reveal to me the dreams that are godly—those secrets that are relevant to our time. Reveal the plots and plans of my enemies. Give me insight into the motivations of their hearts.
I ask that the dreams You give me will be clear and that I will understand and interpret them with ease. Release strategy to overcome any difficulty.
Lord, make Your dreams plain to me, and may they be practical and with purpose.
Day 78
By your patience possess your souls.
—Luke 21:19
Lord, when I find myself in turmoil and in difficult times, bring this verse to mind.
Center my soul in peace so that I can patiently walk through with endurance into victory.
Day 79
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
—Romans 5:5
Holy Spirit, when I begin to run on empty and impatience creeps in, fill my heart again so that I will have a continual flow of love and patience and be at peace as I interact with others.
Holy Spirit, as You flow through me, use me as a connector to keep the flow going, and in so doing I can share in the joy to see how You touch those around me. Holy Spirit, fill my heart daily with a fresh dose of God’s love.
Day 80
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
—Ephesians 4:29
In the wink of an eye, a gathering can turn to a gossip session. Gossip is such an ugly thing; it strips us of mercy for each other.
Lord, when I find myself in such a situation, help me to turn the situation around and use it to speak life into the gossip victim’s life.
At the same time, let this be an opportunity to teach that there is life and death in our words and that what we say about others could be to their hindrance.
Day 81
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
—Hebrews 11:1
Lord, I believe with all my heart that what I believe and hope for will manifest itself.
Help me to effectively pray according to Your will for the desires I have in my heart.
Open my mind to daydream and see the future align with what I believe and hope for.
Help me to set my dreams on paper and to plan to achieve my dreams, making me accountable for my part to play.
Day 82
Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.
—2 Peter 1:10
Holy Spirit, show me and teach me in preparation of the call upon my life. Holy Spirit, You still are the best teacher. Help me balance Word and Spirit.
With every step I advance, guide me and nudge me so that I won’t stagnate but move forward to the call on my life. Take me from strength to strength.
Be the light that lights my path so that I will not stumble and fall in the traps of the enemy on my calling.
Day 83
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
—John 3:16
Father, I cannot fully comprehend that Your love for me would come at the price of Your beloved Son’s life. For any parent, just to be apart from his or her children is heart-breaking and worrisome.
It is heart-breaking pondering on that great sacrifice; yet, it leaves me breathless and thankful that You would value us as being worth the saving.
Jesus, thank You. Let me never take for granted the cost You paid all because of Your great love to us. Your grace is awesome.
I love You, Jesus, and I am in love with You.
Day 84
But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
—Hebrews 13:16
Lord, help me see where there is a need I can meet. Who needs a touch, a hug, a soft answer, a friendly friend?
Open my ears to hear, and give me a giving heart so that I would respond with gifts that could benefit and help those in need.
Day 85
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
—Proverbs 3:24
Lord, as I go to bed to sleep, I ask that all my concerns will fade away. Settle my mind and heart and let Your peace flood me. Remove the hustle of the day from my mind.
Lord, let this busy mind settle down; I have done all I can in this day, and tomorrow is a new start.
Thank You for rest that is sweet as nectar.
Day 86
“When leaders lead in Israel, when the people willingly offer themselves, bless the Lord!
—Judges 5:2
Lord, today I bring before You the leaders of our nation and those that will follow.
Lord, give them hearts to offer themselves willingly to You and to our nation.
Lord, let their mind-set be to lead with righteousness and justice.
Give them a clear vision for our country that is from You.
Day 87
You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.
—Job 22:28
Lord, let Your light shine on me so that when I decree a thing it would be established and blessed. Let even my conversations be like a decree that goes before me.
Light up my path with foresight so that I can see future events and make declarations that would seal what can be and to be as I decree.
Day 88
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren do dwell together in unity!
—Psalm 133:1
Lord, today I want to apply this verse to marriages. Lord, families are falling apart as couples butt heads to overpower each other.
Lord, I know how You love and bless unity, for out of it flows love, peace, and abundance.
I have learned that there is power in unity.
Day 89
“Thus says the Lord of host:
‘Execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother.
—Zechariah 7:9
Father, I ask for a spirit of true justice and righteousness that is compiled out of mercy and compassion to be released over this nation.
Father, let the elderly and orphaned, the poor and foreigner, be contented and flourish in our country.
Lift the spirit of poverty, and release prosperity over the land.
Let those who scheme evil and plan evil be brought to justice. Let them be shamed for their evil and greedy ways. Father, look after Your own.
In Jesus’s name, amen
Day 90
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health; just as your soul prospers.
—3 John1:2
Holy Spirit, come into my soul with Your excellence and heal my soul.
Breathe healing life into my soul, and as my soul heals, let the healing flow into every aspect of my life, including my finances and my relationships, and restore me to my rightful position.
Day 91
You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.
—2 Corinthians 6:12
Lord, thank You for wings to fly. I am no longer bound by boundaries set by others and by myself.
No man, pastor, or person on this planet can restrict me; the only restriction would be from myself.
Remove false doubt from me so that I will believe and achieve that which has touched my affections in doing well.
Day 92
Do you look at things according to the outward appearance?
—2 Corinthians 10:7a
Do I look at the outside appearance of people?
Can someone covered in tattoos be Christ?
Lord, remove the scales from my eyes to not only see what people look like on the outside, but help me to not be judgmental and to instead see people through Your eyes, seeing what is in their hearts.
Day 93
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.
—Daniel 2:22
Thank You, Lord, for prophetic dreams that show me hidden dangers and pitfalls set out for my destruction.
Lord, shine Your light on my dreams so that everything hidden will have no hiding place.
Lord, give me a counterplan for every onslaught against me. May every enemy be exposed and flee from me, in Jesus’s name.
Day 94
What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
—Romans 8:31
Lord, thank You that You are on my side and want me to succeed; that is all that matters.
Thank You for stepping in and removing every obstacle that is opposite Your will for my success.
No weapon formed against me will succeed, for God is on my side.
Thank You for Your favor.
Day 95
For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete.
—2 Corinthians 13:9
Sometimes I am strong and secure, but then at other times I feel out of place and insecure, even fragile.
Holy Spirit, as You minister through me when strong, do so even more when I am frail or when my energy level runs low. Speak through me regardless of how I might feel, for it is Christ in me that shines.
Glory to God.
Day 96
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
—Ezekiel 36:26
Holy Spirit, come and do an inward search of my heart. Remove the pieces of stone and glass cutting in my heart. Years of traumatic events have left their scars. Where my heart has become numb, come and make it live.
Do an open-heart operation and make my heart alive and soft. Let my heart be fully renewed and restored. Replace what has died with a new zest for life.
Let the healing begin.
Day 97
A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel.
—Proverbs 1:5
Lord, help me to be wise. I have made so many mistakes in my life and really need to reboot—retrain to new release.
Help me to hear and increase in learning, acquire skill, and attain sound counsel so that I may steer my journey rightly. May every study course I take produce fruit. Lord, increase my desire to learn new things.
Take the lead of where I steer my life.
Day 98
For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
—Proverbs 2:6
Lord, thank You that I can ask for and tap in to Your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding at any time.
Guide my every thought today. Help me when I find myself at a crossroad to choose wisely, and give me peace when I choose the direction I need to go.
I really need Your guidance and insight daily.
Day 99
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
—Proverbs 10:6
Thank You, Lord, that blessings are on the heads of the uncompromisingly righteous and that I am made righteous through my Lord, Jesus.
Lord, bless me with favor today; open that door of opportunity that will benefit me and release blessings to others.
Keep violence far from me and my loved ones, in Jesus’s name.
Day 100
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.
—Proverbs 10:22
Thank You, Lord, that Your blessing makes rich and that You add no sorrow with it.
Thank You that when You give to bless, You add no pre-requirements to it; they are mine to enjoy.
There is no limit to Your generosity, and for that I am thankful today.
Day 101
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you.
—John 14: 16
Lord, sometimes I question my very existence; at times I feel lost, alone, and misunderstood.
Lord, let Your Spirit of truth flood out those thoughts and establish the truth of my identity, which is in and through You.
Holy Spirit, make Your resting place within me and guide me by Your peace.
Thank You for my new identity.
I belong to the eternal King of kings.
Day 102
I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
—1 Timothy 2:8
Lord, as You taught Your disciples, please continue to teach me effective prayers: always giving You praise, never doubting that You can do the impossible, and without anger in my heart, which could bring in manipulation and frustration, which are the opposites of faith and peace that surpasses understanding.
Day 103
So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
—2 Kings 6:16
Thank You, Lord, that I do not have to fear because there are more with me than with those who want to harm me.
Lord, open the eyes of those coming with evil intent to cause harm, and open their eyes to see the army of angels protecting me so that they will flee from me, my family, and my home.
Day 104
The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe.
—Proverbs 18:10
Lord, I declare that Your name is a strong tower. I can call Your name, Jesus, and by Your name I am safe.
Thank You, Lord, that You are always there for me and that I can freely knock at Your door for assistance.
I am shielded under Your wings, and no harm, sickness, or accident will come near me or my family.
Day 105
There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.
—Proverbs 19:21
Lord, yes, many plans indeed flood my heart. I would like to study, take on a new hobby, be more accessible in my giving, find a way to increase my income, and the list just goes on and on.
That is why I need Your wise counsel so that the plans I have are in line with Your desire and plan for me, and so being, will prosper and succeed.
Day 106
Open my eyes, that I may see wonderous things from Your law.
—Psalm 119:18
Lord, open my spiritual eyes so that I can have revelation of the wonderful things in Your Word.
Open my eyes in order to see what You see.
Open my eyes in order to see Your creation as You intended and appreciate the beauty of Your creation.
Open my eyes in order to see!
Day 107
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope.
—Psalm 130:5
Here I am, Lord, waiting on You. Hope has such a powerful effect; it takes you from wanting to quit to taking action.
Silently I wait and listen. Ignite a spark of hope that will change my life forever. Whisper in my ear.
I love when You speak to me; may our conversations expand as I hear Your voice in new ways throughout this day.
Day 108
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever.
—Psalm 138:8
I declare that the Lord will perfect that which concerns me! I increase in wisdom daily.
He is not done with me yet. He saves the best for last, and He is birthing a new vision and purpose through me. Great things are still to come.
I will rise and shine again.
Day 109
For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
—James 2:10
Lord, how grateful I am to be saved by Your grace. The law is a cruel slave master that is impossible to please. No one can live under that pressure and be happy.
Living in the shadow of death is no way of living. You took all the guilt I had and lightened my struggles.
Thank You, Jesus, for my freedom, by Your saving grace.
Day 110
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
—Galatians 5:1
Lord, thank You that Your grace does not require me to become a Jew or take upon me Jewish customs, which will open the door to be bound once again in a bondage that will lead me on a path where I am fallen from grace. I rejoice in the liberty found in Your grace.
I am saved by grace; I am free from the law and man-made customs. In Christ I reign and shine.
Thank You, Jesus!
Day 111
Give no offence, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God.
—1 Corinthians 10:32
Lord, let me always be a considerate person, having compassion on everyone, especially those who are of different religious groups, so that I do not reflect what or who I may think I am but reflect You. Help me not to take offense at the words spoken by people, and at the same time guard my tongue not to speak offensively.
You are a loving God who desires that all should be saved.
Day 112
But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
—Luke 11:28
Holy Spirit, open my ears to hear the voice of God. Open my ears to hear the deep cry within the hearts of people I minister to and to those I come in contact with.
Release a faithful spirit within me to respond to God’s voice and help me speak life into the cry of those hearts needing an answer.
Day 113
He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.
—Proverbs 17:27
Lord, help me to be selective and consider my manner of speaking when I am in a quarrelsome situation. Tempers can flair up so quickly.
Suppress my opinion with a quiet understanding and boldness to step away, as opinions usually are set.
Let my spirit always be calm; let me be a catalyst for peace.
Day 114
We love Him because He first love us.
—1 John 4:19
Lord, Your love is so great.
Thank You for joining Your heart with mine so that I too can impart the love You have for me to those I come into contact with.
Lord, I love You; may my life be a witness of Your love.
Day 115
“Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.
—Jeremiah 17:7
My hope and trust I place in Your hands.
You, Lord, know my path. Give me strength and courage to stand firm and endure. Give me hope for this day and even a new release of joy in my heart.
Thank You, Lord, that every cycle has a beginning and an end, and therefore I am confident that my hope is not in vain.
Day 116
Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
—Jude 2
Striving to be a better human can seem like something easy to achieve, but mix our inner man with our desire and then what seems easy can become quite difficult.
Today as I focus and meditate on these three words—mercy, peace, and love—fill me in overflow, and may I be a catalyst of mercy, peace, and love wherever I go.
Day 117
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirit, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
—1 John 4:1
Media is just another spirit to watch; people believe what they see, and often what they see has been manipulated to project something completely different.
Know your enemy. Have enough knowledge in spiritual matters that you cannot be deceived.
Holy Spirit, sharpen my discernment so that I not fall in the snare of lying spirits.
Activate a sharpened sense of knowing when the enemy is laying a trap that could ensnare and cripple my growth.
Day 118
And this is the promise that He has promised us – eternal life.
—1 John 2:25
Thank You, Lord, for reminding me today of my eternal position. The price You paid was not in vain.
I am eternally grateful.
I am free, and I am Yours.
Day 119
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
—1 John 2:20
Thank You, Father, for the anointing upon my life. I don’t have to be scared or fazed by evil plots, as it is the anointing on my life that will break that yoke and situation.
Holy Spirit, guide me and show me step by step where I am heading and what I will do for the kingdom.
Teach me daily; I love learning from You.
Day 120
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
—2 Peter 3:18
Lord, as I venture on this lifelong school of understanding Your grace, open my mind to receive and understand Your teaching.
The more I study, the more I realize that I know absolutely nothing. Show me practical applications to Your Word.
Day 121
But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; the Lord will hear when I call to Him.
—Psalm 4:3
Thank You, Lord, that You have set me apart for Yourself, and hear me when I call. I am grateful for “our” alone time. I think of You before I sleep and of all the small miracles You brought me through. You listen to the cry of my heart, and You respond in love. I feel at peace with You.
Thank You for hearing me and for always being on time.
Day 122
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
—Romans 1:16
Jesus is the hope of nations.
I build my life on Your saving grace; therefore, I declare that I am not ashamed of the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ because it is Your power that works unto salvation for everyone who believes.
With the power of the Holy Spirit in me, I boldly and proudly open myself up to be a channel or a barrier for the power of Christ where I work, live, and visit. I am proudly Christian.
Day 123
For there is no partiality with God.
—Romans 2:11
Lord, You are righteous and just. You show no partiality, undue favor, or unfairness; today I ask that I too will treat everyone equal.
And where scales are tipped unjustly, step in and rebalance those scales.
Day 124
So that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
—1 Corinthians 1:7–8
Lord, I declare that in You I am not lacking in any spiritual endowment or in Christian grace.
Thank You for establishing me to the end and giving me endurance and revelation to stand.
I will be found blameless and justified in Jesus Christ. Together we go from glory to glory.
Day 125
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
—John 17:17
Sanctify me, Lord.
Purify, consecrate, separate me for Yourself and make me holy by Your truth, for Your word is truth and life. I am ready to go where You send me.
Day 126
So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground.
—1 Samuel 3:19
Lord, as You continue to teach and guide my growth spiritually, let none of my words be wasted and fall to the ground.
Season my speech. And may my words be creative, releasing teachings and revelations and prophesies.
May my words impact nations and release healing to those broken in spirit.
Day 127
My eyes overflow with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
—Lamentations 3:48
Lord, hear our prayers; fill us with awe and wonder. Release new revelation concerning Your presence in our lives and new understanding of Your greatness.
Lord, intervene for the sake of Your people.
Fight for our justice and peace; be our advocate in times of injustice. Lord, restore South Africa.
Rebuild our nation. To God alone be the glory.
Restore! Restore! Restore!
Day 128
But God reveals them to us by His Spirit
—1 Corinthians 2:10
Holy Spirit, release a new understanding and revelation over God’s people concerning our current situations and times.
Holy Spirit, reveal to us what God has in mind for us.
Open our eyes to see. Open our ears to hear. And fill us with the love of God.
Day 129
Let all that you do be done with love.
—1 Corinthians 16:14
Lord, release a pure motive for everything we set out to do. Let love be our driving force.
Without love, we cannot have compassion or show mercy.
Anchor us in love.
Day 130
To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the beloved.
—Ephesians 1:6
Thank You, Father, that You preordained me and planned in love to adopt me as Your child through Christ Jesus so that I can be to the praise of Your glorious Grace, which You so freely gave me in Your beloved Son.
Reveal Your will for my live so that I can walk in my purpose as an offering of thanks to You.
Holy Spirit, grow me through my journey and reform my inward man.
Thank You, Father, that I am accepted in Your beloved; all glory and praise to You.
Day 131
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
—Ephesians 1:7
Thank You, Jesus, that in You I have redemption, deliverance, and salvation through Your blood—the remission of my sins.
Holy Spirit, thank You for sealing my salvation and that You are rebuilding my relationship with God.
I am guilt-free in accordance with the riches of Your gracious favor, which You have lavished upon me in every kind of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
I am free, delivered, and blessed in Christ Jesus.
Day 132
For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
—Philippians 2:13
Father, please continue and increase Your presence in me. Every day I learn something new.
Thank You that You are effectually at work in me to will and to work for Your good pleasure, satisfaction, and delight.
At the same time, I feel joyful in knowing that I can be a blessing too.
Day 133
Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
—Matthew 6:10
Father, this is my prayer for this country (South Africa):
Your kingdom and will be done.
We need a heavenly intervention from You to rebalance justice and righteousness.
The tension can be felt in the atmosphere; yet, there is hope in our hearts for peace and prosperity.
Father, don’t allow hope to fade.
Day 134
The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.
—Proverbs 11:25
Lord, today I take this promise to heart.
By being generous in nature, You add in riches. When the cycle is reversed where I might have a need, Your provision will be there, as my generous giving has made a way out for my own need when required.
Thank You, Jesus.
Day 135
Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
—Psalm 119:133
Lord, release Your word for my prosperity and success.
Direct me and guide my steps to the right people at the right time.
Lord, protect my heart and mind to not become self-centered in my success but always pure in heart and generous.
Day 136
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land.
—2 Chronicles 7:14
Lord Jesus—the Great Intercessor—I ask that You will stand in the gap with me as we intercede together for South Africa.
On behalf of this great nation, I ask forgiveness for all the injustice and unjust scales that have brought poverty and hatred to the hearts of the people.
Jesus, this land is filled with innocent blood; release healing and restore us to the great nation we are meant to be.
Lord, the process for land-grabs without compensation has begun, and fear is filling our hearts. This affects not only farmers, as we know the government corruption and greed will spill over to city homeowners and possibly even businesses.
We need a divine intervention. Lord, release nations to assist the minority groups in holding on to what they have built in this country.
Lord, our government did not look after municipal structures, water supply, and sanitation, leaving this country open for disease-ridden disasters.
Lord, help us rebuild.
Intervene and restore South Africa.
Day 137
But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
—1 Corinthians 8:3
Social media seem to dictate who is known, approved, loved, famous, and praise-worthy.
Yet, my no. 1 desire is to be known by You, my God. Social-approved life means nothing without You.
I need You, and I love being close to You.
Day 138
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
—Philippians 4:4
Lord, I delight myself in You, and I will continue to rejoice because I am in You!
Thank You for filling me with joy that will give me strength and courage to go through deep waters and still be joyous and thankful in heart.
Day 139
You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.
—Psalm 45:7
Father, as You have said and done for Your beloved Son, Jesus, do so for us.
Anoint us with the oil of gladness, and let the stronghold of wickedness be broken; let righteousness reign.
Fill us with joy unspeakable.
Let those who are around us and need joy be uplifted by even being in our presence.
Help us to appreciate the moments of humor that uplift us. Let us laugh and be glad and enjoy life.
Make us carriers of the oil of joy!
Day 140
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
—2 Corinthians 4:7
Thank You, Jesus, for allowing me to possess the light of the gospel in my frail human vessel so everyone will know that the power in my life comes from You.
Thank You that Your excellence is in us, but we need the power of the Holy Spirit to reflect that excellence.
Holy Spirit, help us in our daily walk and keep us standing and flourishing.
Day 141
Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
—2 Corinthians 5:5
Thank You, Father, for giving me the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of the fulfillment of Your promise in my life.
Holy Spirit, I realize that I need You to enable me to be strong and courageous in order to fight off the temptations of this world.
Thank You for Your counsel and guidance.
As a Christian let my integrity be a virtue by which I am known.
Day 142
You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
—Psalm 16:11
Holy Spirit, take me deeper into the presence of God, who has in His hand pleasures I cannot even imagine and have never heard of.
Teach me; I don’t want to miss what You have for me. I want to make every day I have on this earth count. Help me be the best version of myself.
I love You, Father; I love You, Lord Jesus; I love You, Holy Spirit.
I want to experience and saturate in Your fullness of joy.
Day 143
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord.
—Psalm 104:33–34
Lord, as I sing my song to You today, may it be sweet to Your ears. You wake me up with a morning song in my heart.
Holy Spirit, let new songs of praise and worship flow from me. I truly long to worship You in Spirit and in truth.
Today I want to sing as much in the Spirit as I can. Holy Spirit, as I sing, expand my heavenly language, and may the meditations of my heart and mind be sweet and tender and filled with love for You.
Day 144
“Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut.
—Isaiah 45:1
Lord, let Your grace shine on me. Remember me and my longing to serve You. You are God, who uses anybody no matter their background for Your purpose.
Restore the anointing upon my life. Restore the calling You have placed on me. Clothe me with righteousness.
Lord, command the gates that are hindering me to move into my destiny to be opened. Lord of Host, remove strongholds and strongmen standing at the gates, blocking me to go through.
Let the doors be opened! Guide me through, and release assisting angels to move in alongside me in order to assist me in the tasks ahead.
I will rise and shine, for the glory of my Lord is upon my life.
Day 145
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
—Romans 3:24
My sinful past is forgiven; I am washed in the precious blood of Jesus. I believe and trust in the saving grace of Christ.
Thank You, Lord, that I am justified and in right standing with You by Your grace and through the redemption You have provided for me in Jesus Christ.
Jesus, You are my savior. Jesus, You are my King.
Day 146
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
—Philippians 4:13
Often when we go through extreme circumstances, our first resort is a financial bailout. But inner strength is not a material thing; it is a spiritual thing. And once we understand the spiritual protocol, the manifestation seems less important and fades away as God takes it upon Him how it will work out. Therefore, focus on inner strength that will take you through anything.
I declare that through Christ I have strength and am empowered for all things.
I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him.
With Christ, nothing is impossible.
Day 147
“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
—2 Corinthians 6:18
With this fatherless generation, the love of the Father can be difficult to grasp. Father, restore our hearts to You; let us grasp and take Your love to heart.
Father, thank You that I can call to You.
Sometimes all I need is that Father’s touch and love to remind me that everything is going to be okay.
Father, be close to me today; I want to feel Your embrace. Lift me up today.
Day 148
He has delivered us form the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in which we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
—Colossians 1:13–14
Sometimes it is good to reflect on where you came from.
What would your life be if God did not step in? Would you still be alive? Think of the people who prayed with you and who counseled you; whether they are a part of your life today or not does not matter. What matters is that they where there in that season when you needed them sent by God.
Thank You, Lord, for delivering me and drawing me out of the control and dominion of darkness and transferring me into the kingdom of the Son, of Your love, in whom I have redemption through His blood—the forgiveness of my sins.
Day 149
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
—Colossians 3:15
Lord, Your peace is awesome.
No more turmoil and strife. The peace in my home and life is priceless. Thank You for the unity in my marriage that results in peace and prosperity. I am guided by Your peace when I come to a crossroad. And Your Word calls the peacemaker blessed.
Thank You, for Your blessed peace.
Day 150
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.
—Colossians 3:23
Supercharge me, Holy Spirit, with passion and power that every work I do, whether for man or God, will be fruitful and enjoyable.
Bless the work of my hands, and may my heart be joyful as I go about my daily tasks.
Thank You, Lord, that I am able to work.
Day 151
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
—1 Peter 4:8
Lord, I can only minister out of love, by the ability that You supply; therefore, Lord, impart love and mercy in my heart today.
Lord, let me see with compassion and mercy; let my eyes be opened to stretch out my hand and impart love as I too received compassion, mercy, and love from You and others. Freely I have received; freely I will give love and compassion.
Thank You for Your unconditional love.
Day 152
But by the God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
—1 Corinthians 15:10
Lord, thank You for the honor to labor with You.
It is by You that I am who I am today; Your grace has made me fruitful and effective. Your grace has touched my conscience, my understanding, and my will to do Your will. I am changed forever.
Father, as Your word is spoken through me, I ask that You would breathe upon the word and make it alive. Also, Father, I ask that You would release Your ministering angels to minister to Your people as they hear the word. In Jesus’s name, amen.
Day 153
And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy in the Holy Spirit.
—1 Thessalonians 1:6
Lord, help me to lead by example how to be Your follower with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, how I desire more of You. I want that “closer than a brother” relationship with You.
Release a spirit of boldness in me to speak passionately about my God to the extent that the hearers would want the same or a better relationship with my Lord.
Holy Spirit, teach me as I want to share in Your joy.
Day 154
That you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
—1 Thessalonians 2:12
This world has a way to make me feel unworthy, Lord. At times like these, remind me that You have called me into a kingdom far superior to this world.
Help me to walk worthy and with purpose; may my every step spread Your glory.
My feet are Yours.
Day 155
For you are our glory and joy.
—1 Thessalonians 2:20
Lord, this sums up what I desire for You to see when You look at me: Your glory and joy. Like a child, I also want You to be proud of Your child.
May I fill Your heart with joy.
Day 156
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
—1 Thessalonians 5:11
Lord, use me as a vessel that brings comfort and edification wherever I go.
Holy Spirit, give me the right words for the right time in order to build and strengthen.
Release words that inspire and produce fruit.
Align my words with Your desire for the hearers.
Day 157
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
—Romans 10:4
Thank You, Jesus, for fulfilling the purpose of the Law in order to save all so that I can be in right relationship with God even as a gentile, as I put my trust in You.
Thank You for a new beginning and an eternal heavenly residency.
Day 158
Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
—1 Corinthians 8:6
God, my only God, You are the source of all things, and I am living for You.
You have given me the ability to ask questions of conscience about the choices I make—an inward checking of if my motivation is based in love.
I have been adopted as Your child, and You have given me a royal standing in Your kingdom.
When You look at me, You see much more than I can imagine. Guide me to be all You desire for me.
I declare that Jesus Christ is the only Lord.
Through Him and by Him, all things exist, including me.
Day 159
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.
—Psalm 34:13
Lord, forgive me for partaking in gossip in the past. Holy Spirit, make me attentive to not gossip or stand with gossipers, as that brings nothing but deceit and anger to the victim of gossip.
Lord, let me not be guilty of this evil again.
May my speech bring healing and encouragement. May the words from my mouth inspire.
Day 160
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
—2 Corinthians 8:9
Thank You, Lord Jesus. Through Your life-giving grace, I have more than I understand and deserve.
My soul rejoices in Your riches and blessings transferred to me. Lord, You know what I will need and where I will face challenges. In Your name, the provision will be available in advance.
Lord, manifest those spiritual and financial riches in my life and in my loved ones.
Let Your abundance and goodness enrich my life and overflow to the lives of others.
Thank You for Your faithfulness.
Day 161
“And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”
—Revelation 10:11
Today I want you to consider and meditate on:
God’s plan includes to save as many from destruction as possible. He still has an overwhelming desire to save all He can.
The release of fresh prophecy and fresh revelation is for a much bigger purpose than we realize. No longer should we run after feel-good prophetic word to make us feel good for a moment.
No! The picture is much bigger than that, and it is time to desire more than just the feel-good word for the moment. You see, nations need saving.
You might have a word for a nation; our church walls need to come down.
The nations are waiting! Our mission now, more than ever, is to prepare the way of the Lord.
Day 162
To speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.
—Titus 3:2
Lord, this verse is so much bigger than I am. Lord, without You, it would be humanly impossible.
Lord, take control of what comes out of my mouth and through my writings. May my words be gentle and caring.
Lord, use my mouth to utter words that build. Let the words I write echo beyond what I imagine. Remove boundaries and give my words wings to fly, reaching places I could never go.
Help me to serve humbly, for the glory belongs to You.
Day 163
And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.
—Titus 3:14
Lord, today I ask that You would give me endurance to continue in my quest to do good to others. Help me to be able to meet urgent needs and bear good fruits.
Regarding work, I ask that I will be able to keep the pace in order to complete tasks per set deadlines. I need to maintain my focus and live a balanced and fruitful lifestyle.
Day 164
Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.
—1 Corinthians 14:39
Holy Spirit, thank You for my heavenly tongue.
With my gifted tongue I can build myself up, but my desire is for so much more.
Holy Spirit, release a fresh wave of the prophetic gift over me. Use me as a voice that brings hope to the hopeless. Reveal God’s will for His people.
I desire to build others up, encourage, inspire, strengthen, and uplift through the gift of prophecy.
Holy Spirit, use my mouth and writings to glorify God.
Day 165
For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.
—1 Corinthians 4:20
Lord, help me to be kingdom-minded and live my life by demonstration of Your power.
Holy Spirit, flow in me and flow through me.
Alter my mind-set to be one with Yours.
Day 166
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own.
—1 Corinthians 6:19
Thank You, Lord, for living within me by the Holy Spirit. I am Yours, bought at a price.
Looking after my body is my responsibility; I must maintain my body to be effective for as long as possible. Nourishing my spirit is also my responsibility; it is up to me what enters my body and spirit.
May my life, body, spirit, and soul honor and glorify You. I realize I need to take care of my body so that I can impact those around me as long as possible. Keep my mind healthy and sharp.
Use me to advance Your kingdom on earth.
I am Yours, in body, in spirit, and in soul.
Day 167
Finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
—Ephesians 5:10
Holy Spirit, today I ask that You would reveal to me what is uniquely acceptable to the Lord for me.
Guide my doings to be pleasing by living in love, by forsaking selfish pursuits, by watching what I say, by exercising discernment over that which enters my hearing, by walking away from evil agendas, and by managing my time effectively.
Teach me, Lord; I am willing to learn more.
Day 168
Do not quench the Spirit.
—1 Thessalonians 5:19
Holy Spirit, no limit! Move in me and through me. Holy Spirit, breathe new life in me and empower me as Your vessel.
Teach and guide me. Holy Spirit, open my spirit to receive and understand. Remove from me fear of man and their opinion and open my mind to perceive Your guidance.
Day 169
I have shown you in every way, by labouring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
—Acts 20:35
Lord, You worked and served while walking the earth. You had no “superiority complex,” unlike today’s preachers and prophets. The church has become a family business and a circle for the elite, while the orphans and poor are neglected, and now the concern of organizations other than the church.
Lord, make me attentive to those who are regarded as weak; open my heart to see their hurt and needs and to be a support to their emotional well-being.
Fatherless. Single parent. Elderly. Lonely person. Even animal welfare. Lord, the list and needs are endless. Press on my heart where I can be an extended hand. For the new church is within me, not bound by what goes on between walls.
Open my eyes to see needs where I have influence and access to be a helping hand to those in need.
Day 170
A righteous man regards the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
—Proverbs 12:10
Lord, all life is sacred. You have entrusted us to watch over and look after all of creation.
Lord, fill our hearts with compassion for all life, especially the helpless animals.
Lord, they suffer the most at the cruel hand of humans. Some sacrifice their blood to do evil.
Holy Spirit, stir even the hearts of the wicked to not lift their hand in hurting the animals.
Day 171
But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man.
—Genesis 9:4–5a
Lord, today I consider how the ones who worship the devil grasp the importance of the life that is in blood, and by slaughtering innocent animals and even humans, they are mocking You in the cruelest way.
They mock the God of creation!
For we are custodians of Your creation, and You are holding us accountable. O, how we are failing at this task. Give us courage to speak up against cruelty. Animals go extinct daily.
Lord, the trophy hunters that hunt for fun also come to mind. Guide my thoughts and prayer today, as this issue is gripping my heart today.
Day 172
Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh.
—Proverbs 23:20 KJV
Flesh = according to the Hebrew:
flesh (of men or animals); body; living creature; man, mankind; blood relation; skin.
The essential meaning refers to animal musculature, and the meaning was extended to the human body, blood relations, the human race, living things, life itself, and created life as opposed to God.
Lord, though You do allow us to eat meat off animals, forgive us when we waste and when we eat more than needed, as that life is for our strength but is also precious and not to be wasted.
Day 173
Everyone who is called by my name, whom I have created for My glory, I have formed him, yes, I have made him.’
—Isaiah 43:7
Created for Your glory, Lord, guide me to my life purpose.
Father, thank You for the gifts that came with me from birth and the ability to attain knowledge if I choose so.
You have placed within me many talents and abilities; thank You, Father.
Holy Spirit, teach and guide me; help me to evolve and adapt to Your call and not stagnate, as I reflect Your glory, God.
Day 174
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
—Galatians 2:16
I cannot work for or boast in my salvation. Jesus, You paid the ultimate price for me!
I am not made righteous and justified by the law but through my faith in Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Lord, that You removed that burden of proving my worth by working for my salvation, as it is humanly impossible not to stumble at some point.
Even if I was born a Jew, maintaining my salvation with works would prove itself impossible; no one can apply all the rules and stand guilt-free.
Therefore, my outwork flows from my gratitude to Jesus, for saving me.
Day 175
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
—Philemon 3
Lord, You have blessed me with Your grace and peace; thank You.
I am anchored in grace and peace. Lord, let me too give grace and show mercy to those around me.
Father of the fatherless, Father of all, let me rest in Your loving arms. You are my peace.
I love You, Father.
Day 176
But let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream.
—Amos 5:24
Lord, intercede with me for South Africa, as her great Intercessor.
Let justice run down her like water, cleansing and healing the land and hearts of the people; let righteousness be restored to her. It is time for her to rise.
Save and heal South Africa.
Day 177
Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.
—Daniel 12: 3
No more compromising; it is time to reflect the glory of the Lord and shine bright. Let my love be the force that draws people to You.
Lord, You know my personality, my flaws, and my rights. Yet I desire to shine my light for You forever.
Lord, give me a platform where I can be used by You, whether it is public speaking, through social media, or maybe writing. Make my platform plain to me, and may I shine like a star.
Day 178
That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
—Ephesians 3:17
Lord, I invite You to take root in my heart; keep me grounded in Your love. Make Yourself a home within my heart.
You are worthy to be loved, adored, and appreciated.
Consume me in Your love. Ignite love within me that would reflect Your love and ultimately draw others to want to know You.
Without love, there is no life.
Day 179
Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
— Romans 11:5
It is time for you to come out from your cave and speak the heart of God. Find any means possible to declare your message; this is a media era and is yours for the taking.
Lifting your voice to a congregation is not enough; the world needs to hear what God has to say.
The walls that kept you caved in are coming down.
Today as you cry out to God, ask him to give you a plan and a means to lift your voice to declare Him and glorify Him to the ends of the earth.
And take courage; you are not alone. The prophets who were hidden for this time are rising up one by one and finding their trumpets.
Day 180
The grass withers, the flowers fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”
—Isaiah 40:8
Seasons come and go; the world changes rapidly, and even hearts turn to and from each other; yet, You, Lord God, stand faithfully with me.
Stability in our lives is something we all want, yet it is the opposite of what a fast-paced life offers.
Lord, anchor me through Your word.
Thank You that the word You have spoken over me will stand no matter how things appear.
Day 181
I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it. And nothing can be taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.
—Ecclesiastes 3:14
Bless Your holy name, God of eternity. You hold the world in Your hands, and Your power has no limit. Nothing escapes You. You are the keeper of time and seasons.
Thank You, Lord, that I have this assurance: whatever You determine concerning me cannot be altered. Every word spoken over me will come into existence.
No plan to derail me or speak against me will be successful, as You are the keeper of my destiny.
Therefore, Lord, restore all to me and my family that has been taken from us by violence and force.
Redeem us in this day.
Day 182
Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
—Psalm 40:4
Lord, most people follow the “next big thing,” the fashionable person of the moment, without considering the unstable ground they have placed their hearts to trust.
Many think that their social media stand will guarantee their crave for fame. May I say that my fame is in Christ. #Jesus forever!
Lord, You are my trust, my save place, my confidence; You surround me with a few faithful ones, and that is all I need.
Day 183
And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
—Colossians 2:10
Lord, God almighty, I acknowledge that in You I am complete.
My whole being cries out to You; without You I feel lost.
Thank You for Your power that strengthens and enables me to stand strong no matter what.
Therefore, no power coming against me will succeed.
I am covered in Your righteousness.
Day 184
That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgement of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
—Philemon 6
My focus is on Jesus.
I want to know You more. The more I know You, the more I can share what You mean to me. You called me out of utter darkness and depression and gave me life.
Father, I pray that the sharing of my faith may produce full understanding and appreciation of every good thing that is mine in Christ Jesus.
Day 185
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
—James 1:22
Lord, let Your word effortlessly overflow in my daily living.
Being a helping hand should be second nature, but trusting people has caused hurt and made me hesitant to give from my overflow.
Help me to forgive and trust again.
Strengthen my heart and hands to be open in loving and giving.
I am thankful for all I have received and want to be a continuation of the blessings You so freely give.
Day 186
There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
—James 4:12
Lord, forgive me where I have spoken judgmentally over another without knowing what they might be going through or what life lessons they are learning.
Lord, change the way we look at each other. There are so many broken people who go through unthinkable situations. May we be hope-bearers to those and see their future rather than judging their current state.
Let us see through Your eyes the challenges and struggles people face daily.
Day 187
You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.
—1 Corinthians 7:23
Lord Jesus, thank You for my freedom.
Today I realize that where the “church” might have rejected or misunderstood that my willingness to serve was actually to my freedom, therefore I will never again be bound by the constitution of religion, as I am limitless in my giving without man-made borders.
I am free to serve freely, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Day 188
That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
—2 Timothy 1:14
Let me never take for granted the gifts imparted to me by the Holy Spirit.
Help me, Lord, to guard and keep with greatest care the precious truth and giftings that have been entrusted to me by the Holy Spirit.
Some things given are sacred between us, and when we share those moments with others they won’t understand or may even breed envy.
Enhance my sensitivity to what is just between You and me.
Day 189
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.
—Ephesians 3:16
Father, thank You for strengthening me with might and power in my inner man by Your Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, one lesson You taught me early was: “let your yes be yes and your no be no.”
Our words spoken have tremendous power and should not be taken for granted or taken lightly.
You give me courage to go and speak to people I would not go to on my own. Holy Spirit, help me express the grace of God.
Jesus, Your permanent home is within my heart. I truly believe this, and it is by You that I can stay rooted and grounded and tapped-in, in Your love.
The love You showed to me is so awesome that I want to reflect and be consumed by Your love.
Day 190
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
—2 Timothy 2:1
Lord, today I ask that You would strengthen me; at times I feel weak and emotionally fragile.
I need a zest of energy to recharge this tired body and mind. Lord, recharge me inwardly in the grace and spiritual blessings that are found only in Christ Jesus.
My strength comes from You; Lord, impart what I need for today.
Day 191
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
—2 Peter 3:9
Lord, thank You for Your patience toward us.
Thank You that every promise You have for us will come to fulfillment at the right time.
There are promises I have pending that have not been fulfilled as yet; Lord, show me what my part to play is in order for those promises to manifest.
Place in us that same hopefulness You have not to give up on our loved ones. Some family members have not come to You yet; I ask that You would intercede with me for their souls.
Help us to be patient and merciful to each other; help us to understand their suffering, and give us the right comforting words to those who need comforting, at the right time.
Day 192
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!
—1 John 3:1a
To be accepted and having a place where we belong must be one of the deepest human desires.
I remember a time where my deepest desire was to be loved just as I am. I have found that desire in You, Jesus.
And then You, Father, announced for all to hear how much You love me. I am proudly Your Child.
Your love for me gives my longing rest.
Thank You for accepting and loving me just as I am.
Day 193
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
—1 John 3:18
Lord, I know how it feels to be betrayed and misled by someone’s word.
There was a time in my life when a person’s word was all I had to look forward to, and when they forget or change their mind, it is devastating.
That taught me what I do not want to be.
I will not be hasty with my promises; I want to love like You do, by serving and taking care of others by being truthful to my word.
Day 194
Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
—Acts 8:17
Lord, You know who will cross my path today.
You know them inside out; You know the deep, hidden issues that speak silently from their hearts.
Holy Spirit, as we meet them, seek out their needs and use me to impart what they need just by my touch.
Your gentle touch is all they need.
Day 195
In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
—Colossians 2:3
Thank You, Jesus, that all the treasures of divine wisdom and insight into the ways and purposes of God are stored and hidden in You.
I ask today that You would impart to me the wisdom and insight found in only You. I am open to receive teaching from You.
Where knowledge in certain issues is needed, I ask that that knowledge will flow from me naturally.
As I learn, let me teach.
Day 196
Rooted and build up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
—Colossians 2:7
Lord, may the roots of my being be firmly and deeply planted in You. Saturate me in Your unfailing love. Cover me in Your Love.
May the same love You have for me overflow and touch the hearts of every unbeliever I meet. Change their hearts and minds as they meet love—the love that You are.
Thank You for Your continual building up of my faith so that I can become established.
Thank You for never giving up on me.
Day 197
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. The message was true, but the appointed time was long; and he understood the message, and had understanding of the vision.
—Daniel 10:1
Holy Spirit, I ask that You would give me clear understanding of times and seasons.
Word that is for now, in the times we are living in now, as we face more challenges now than ever.
Give me an urgency to deliver a word when the time is right. Timing is everything. You know the timing of every person; we can only guess. But You know.
Holy Spirit, I ask that You would give me the interpretation of dreams and visions like You did Daniel. May my dreams be clear and the interpretation to the point. Help me guide others in interpreting their own dreams.
Make my dreams plain so that there can be no confusion.
Day 198
And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.
—Daniel 1:20
Lord, by Your favor I am where I am. Set me up to influence and be a person of influence.
Lord, there are really better-qualified people competing with me in so many spheres of life.
I need godly wisdom and understanding. I need foresight to plan for future events.
Lord, let Your favor shine on me so that, like Daniel, I will come across ten times better equipped than my competitors.
Take me places I never thought possible. And readjust the way I see things. Open the understanding of the prophetic.
Day 199
And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”
—Daniel 10:19
Lord, strengthen me as I take my stand socially and spiritually. The world has no second to waste in criticizing each other.
Protect my heart from wrongful critique. Where critique is justified, let me learn from it and readjust in order to better the next opportunity I have to produce fruit.
Lord, when You speak, calm my spirit so that I can calmly grasp all You want to convey to and through me. Fine-tune me to hear clearly and accurately so no doubt can take root.
I can only move forward if You are with me, as I find my courage and strength in You.
Thank You for always being with me.
Day 200
Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
—Amos 3:7
Lord, reveal to me the things concerning my life and time—even further than that, my community and even this country and the nations.
Show me secrets and revelations through dreams. Help me to discern the times and the Word You entrust to me. Give and establish a platform for me to communicate Your desires and plans.
Help me to apply and translate the prophetic Word in a practical manner for all to understand.
Day 201
For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.
—Acts 11:24
Lord, may this too be my lasting legacy: a good person, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith.
May many become Yours through my lifetime by the platforms You give me. May I impact and make a difference in this world.
And may even the smallest attempt to uplift and encourage someone make a huge difference.
Day 202
Now the God of peace be with You all. Amen.
—Romans 15:33
Thank You, Lord, for Your peace. Your peace strengthens and grounds me.
No matter what I go through, I can make it, as I am guided by Your peace.
Let Your peace saturate every aspect of my life today.
Day 203
Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!
—Psalm 105:3
Lord, I love Your presence. You are the King of my heart. You are awesome. You are glorious. You are holy. You are wonderful; oh, how great You are.
I want more of You, Lord; let me share in Your joy. Here I am; fill me with Your plans and dreams, Your hopes and visions.
Fill me with more of You.
Day 204
‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.
—Isaiah 45:2
You see the unseen and know the unknown. Along our life journey we befall many challenges, and our enemy would love to derail us permanently!
Lord, my path has always been a difficult one. Everything does indeed come with a price, but I am excited to continue and see the victorious outcome.
Lord, I cannot continue on my journey to the next level without You stepping in and helping me.
Lord, straighten the crooked places and break all obstacles to those gates stopping me from going through.
By faith I step into my promised land.
Day 205
I give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, they you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by name, Am the God of Israel.
—Isaiah 45:3
Lord, open my understanding to see Your provision from unexpected, unusual places.
Broaden my vision and expectancy.
Open the treasure chest of the hidden riches, and open new technologies buried in darkness and secret places.
Give me access to these funds and technology as Your plan unfolds for us in this time frame.
Save Your people; give us the edge to excel and succeed.
Poverty is not our portion. We are destined to reign.
Day 206
The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in this season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
—Deuteronomy 28:12
Lord, pour out Your good treasure over me and my loved ones. Bless us with rain that makes rich, and prosper even in this season of instability in our land.
Bless the work of our hands so that we can bless those in need.
Open the heavens over our harvest, and bless the fruit our lands produce. Fill our bellies with the goodness of the land. Bless the farmers and protect them in these difficult times.
I declare that I am debt free and positioned to relieve the debt of others. Let Your richness pave the way for us to the nations. Thank You, Jesus.
Great is Your faithfulness.
Day 207
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
—Philippians 4:5
Lord, in this country the opposite is true; we are a violent, aggressive people. Stir our spirits to be calm and gentle. Pour out Your love over this nation.
Lord, make our words gentle; help as to speak and answer in a gentle tone, as if You speak through us.
Day 208
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.
—Ephesians 2:14
Jesus, Prince of Peace, Your peace in me gives me access to freely enter the courts of heaven.
Thank You for tearing down the veil of separation. Lord, today I petition on behalf of myself and my family. I petition on behalf of South Africa.
Restore to us that which we have lost through deceit and unjust dealings from others. Restore relationships. Restore us to the nations. Restore our peace.
Restore positions lost, and restore health.
Restore!
Day 209
Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
—1 Samuel 3:10
Lord, awaken my hearing. Let me be quick to respond to Your call. Clear my mind of all the clutter, and restore my focus.
Renew and fine-tune my hearing to be precise. Enhance my ability to see and hear beyond this realm and be attentive to detail.
I don’t want to miss You calling and talking to me. Open my ears to hear clearly and accurately.
Day 210
Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
—Mark 1:41
Lord, what this world needs are people willing to have their hearts moved with compassion.
The reality of this world is hardness of hearts, filth, violence, deceit, lawlessness, and hatred.
Holy Spirit, release a spirit of compassion over God’s own that will cause them to reach out and be conductors for health, of love and restoration to all that God desires for those who need it.
Let us pray for one another.
Day 211
And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
—Luke 24:45
Lord, You are the Word of God made flesh.
There is so much for us to know and understand.
You understand all of the Word; therefore, I ask that You would open my mind to a sevenfold understanding of the Word.
Reveal Your Word to me in a brand-new way. And bring back that excitement I used to experience when I understood what You were saying to me.
Take my mind and fill it to the capacity that is perfect for me.
Day 212
“It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear.
—Isaiah 65:24
Lord, hear my every spoken word. May it be like a continual prayer or call to You.
Lord, manifest Your breakthrough and needed answers to me even as I ponder about concerns in my mind. May Your light shine on me favorably always.
Thank You for hearing even before we call.
Day 213
For You, o Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield.
—Psalm 5:12
Jesus, I am made righteous in You; therefore, I am blessed. Your favor surrounds me like a shield. Let favor pave the way and open the doors to my blessings and destiny.
Your favor protects me from harm and keeps me on the right track.
Use the favor upon my life to favor and bless those around me.
Use me as a giver of dreams.
Day 214
Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.
—Psalm 2:8
Father, as joint heir in Christ, I ask today that the boundaries to my earthly inheritance be lifted.
Holy Spirit, bless me with a gift I can share with the word and glorify God. Take me beyond our borders, and use me as an inspiration to the nations.
Let me rule as You have purposed in my destiny.
Thank You for Your gift within me that will enable me to leave a legacy to the world.
Day 215
Saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honour and glory and blessing!’
—Revelation 5:12
Do you have the Son? Then these gifts belong to you as well, not only in heaven but now! Only these gifts are to be valued and handled with care; they are for those who live to establish and bring the Kingdom of God.
These gifts come with great responsibility; the true sons and daughters of God can access them and give them freely as they tap into heaven to hear what God would like them to do throughout the nations.
God’s agenda is still love—love to gather the lost and save them from eternal condemnation. These gifts are to others through you, but your reward for being found faithful is summed up in the word worthy. By God’s grace when you are found worthy, these too belong to you and through you.
Power/riches/wisdom/strength/honor/glory/blessing.
Majesty, You are worthy; all power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing belong to You.
You are in me, and, I am in You; therefore, these things are also my inheritance.
Thank You, Jesus. You thought of it all; there is no end to Your royal descent.
I reign in and through You.
Day 216
“No one is holy like the Lord, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.
—1 Samuel 2:2
Lord, I declare that there is none as holy as You are holy; there is no god besides You; there is no rock in my life like You.
You are my hiding place, and I am safe in Your arms. In You I can rest.
You are King of kings and Lord of lords.
Blessed be Your name forever.
Day 217
The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”
—Ruth 2:12
Lord, I have learned that under Your wings are divine protection and shelter. There is favor to flourish and prosper. There is healing and deliverance.
Shelter us from harm. Thank You for always taking care of our needs and blessing our work.
Thank You for a wonderful, faithful, and loving husband. Thank You for my children; keep them safely in Your loving arms.
Day 218
There is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
—1 John 4:18
Fear and torment are not from God.
Lord, let me never forget that there is no fear in love.
When I am in a situation where I feel manipulated and fearful, let these words jump in remembrance as a warning to back off.
Let Your peace guide me always.
Day 219
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”
—Revelation 4:11
Lord, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and dominion; Your creation is marvelous and awe inspiring.
There is such beauty and splendor on the earth that it takes Your breath away in wonder. If earth possesses such beauty, how much more our heavenly resting place …
There are not enough words to express Your greatness.
I exist by You and for You.
Day 220
Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” and He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
—Revelation 21:5
Lord, I will never be the same; You have taught me and molded me into a new being.
When I look back, I can see how faithful and true these words are; everything around me has gone through a transformation.
All things are new.
I am happy and blessed; I am at peace.
Thank You for Your truth and faithfulness and for revealing nuggets of truth to me.
Day 221
And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
—Revelation 10:4
This seal was set in place by God in order to protect the end-time believers. Too much revelation at the wrong time will result in chaos and fear. The plan of action will be set in place at the exact right time, and by then our preparation will be complete, and the army of God will be fearless. If you are gifted with foresight like Joseph was, apply the plan. Joseph built storehouses that saved nations.
The prophetic revelation that is about to be released contains the secret designs and plans God has put in place for the right time.
It is my belief that as you are reading this, there are people with dreams and revelations of a plan of action and what their role is to play in preparation for what is to come.
Day 222
And all nations shall call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land, says the Lord of hosts.
—Malachi 3:12
Father, this is my desire for myself, my family, and our nation that indeed we will be called blessed and a delight.
Father, remove the thug mentality that is ruling over (South-Africa), and consume the offspring this mentality produced with the Fire of God, that no trace of it will remain to torment Your people again.
Fill us with hope, joy, and peace, and let the Holy Spirit breathe healing over this nation. In Jesus’s name.
