Feeding Children with Love and Good Sense

Both the supper nanny and Ellyn Satter encourage parents to take responsibility with when, what, and where of feeding. In addition, they support the parent to let the child determine the quantity of the food they will eat. This division of responsibility in feeding children applies at every development stage of the child, from infant to adolescence. Both the supper nanny and Ellyn Satter advice parents to feed the baby on demand, by letting the child determine the tempo and timing of feeding,  As the child grows and becomes more conversant with the eating patterns, the parent then takes the responsibility for deciding where and when to feed. Majority of the children by the end of the first year are big enough to eat meals and snacks with the family members at the table. After that, the parents ought to sustain the eating structure of meals (Adamo et al., 2014)

Aging process

If we had more than 900-year life span, the world would be overpopulated and perhaps the government would pass laws on the estimated number of kids a family should have. Additionally, it would be a society full of different kinds of people – geniuses, thieves, and scientist among others. Besides, there would be severe economic times since there will be a massive number of people to feed. Through this, it might even become a blessing if a particular person dies (Sahlins, 2017). Moreover, birth control would be a mandatory thing to use to prevent more children. The society may fail to educate children because of the tough times. In my perspective, I would not wish to live more than 500 years since I do not wish to be a burden to society. Furthermore, I will be too weak to do normal activities such as bathing and walking, thus, needing assistance.
