Choose a disability to research. (learning disability, autism, language disorder, etc.) Create a powerpoint presentation about the disability chosen. The following is a list of information you can include in your powerpoint:

· definition

· facts

· causes

· classification

· characteristics

· statistics

· identification

· gender differences (how it affects each gender differently)

· genetics

· instructional strategies used to teach students with the disability you chose

· treatment

· suggestions on dealing with persons with the disability you chose

· behavior intervention

· accommodations

· summary

· resources

Your powerpoint must include 12 slides. You can choose the above topics in your powerpoint or you may have other topics. You must include a summary and resources slide. These can be included in your 12 slides. Be sure to include a title slide. (this is not included in your 12 slides) You should have a total of 13 slides. (with title slide) Be creative!
